The CO2 caused by the industry and the construction, service and transport sectors contributes significantly to global warming. To become climate-neutral by 2045, Germany increasingly relies on renewable energies and energy efficiency. Our projects help achieve climate protection goals, make a contribution to the success of the energy transition nationally and internationally, enrich debates, create momentum and connect stakeholders.

adelphi is actively involved in shaping the energy transition:

• We work with stakeholders in politics, the financial sector and industry to build capacities and create the conditions for the energy transition on the ground.
• With economic, technical and political expertise, we meet the challenges of the electricity and heating sector: the use of renewable energies, increasing the energy efficiency of conventional energy sources, and ensuring a socially acceptable energy transition – at the local, national and international levels. 
• We help develop and implement innovative financing models for sustainable energy projects.
• We analyse and evaluate energy policy initiatives and funding programmes.
• We promote international cooperation in the energy sector by facilitating bilateral energy dialogues.
• We develop campaigns, support stakeholder processes and implement climate protection initiatives.
