Strengthening Environmental Policy in Georgia

In order to assist Georgia in the process of strengthening its environmental administration, adelphi and InWEnt - Capacity Building International conducted a training course. The course was designed for senior officials and executives of the Georgian public administration in the fields of air pollution control and waste water management. The training course took place November 7-15, 2004, in Berlin, which consisted of presentations, expert dialogues, excursions and role-plays. This training course was integrated into a larger and long-term effort of InWEnt to improve public environmental administration and environmental quality in the Southern Caucasus.
